Wall Coverings

  • Digital

Digital printing has made wallcovering highly customizable and able to be produced on-demand to serve in customized situations. Often used for murals, digital printing is one of several non-impact technologies where the image or pattern is crafted, manipulated, and finalized by electronic systems and printed by a computer-controlled printer. Types of digitally printed wallcoverings include Mylar, Paper, and Vinyl.

  • Vinyl

Vinyl wallcoverings are those with polyvinyl chloride or acrylic-type vinyl coating. Some vinyl wallcoverings contain a paper substrate or fabric backing, but these are still considered durable due to their vinyl surface. Vinyl wallcoverings are made for both commercial and residential use. Commercial wallcoverings are explicitly produced for buildings such as hotels, apartments, offices, hospitals, and retail establishments and are typically heavier than residential stock.

  • Fabric

A flexible sheet of cloth, usually laminated and printed with a repeat pattern, is suitable for pasting on a wall as decoration and protection or simply as a wall covering. Dating back as early as the fifteenth century, we've used fabric wallcoverings to give the room added texture to the walls creating a unique environment.

  • Paper

Simply the most well-known kind of wall covering, paper wallpaper refers to wallpaper made entirely of paper without any coating, making it easily damaged and difficult to clean. Of the four types, paper wallpaper is the one to avoid in rooms with much use because it is so fragile.
